APHC’s Quality Plumber Week will back this October in Partnership with Installer and Premierline Insurance Broker. From 13th October until the 19th October we will be leading the nationwide industry initiative that celebrates outstanding plumbing and heating professionals. It’s all about promoting the positive aspects of our industry, bringing people together and recognising great work.

We will be running a weeks’ worth of competitions, awards and webinars to help unite the industry and celebrate the achievements of installers who go above and beyond with their commitment to high standards of professionalism and unrivalled levels of customer service.

The 2025 Quality Plumber Week Awards

The Quality Plumber Week Awards are back for 2025 and there are 7 awards up for grabs, each sponsored by a leading name in the plumbing industry, there are prizes worth a minimum of ÂŁ200 per award waiting to be claimed.

These awards are all about recognising the dedication, skill and passion that plumbers and heating engineers bring to their work every day. Whether you’re a hardworking sole trader, part of a dynamic team, or know someone who consistently goes the extra mile, this is your chance to shine.

Nominations open on Monday 8th September and will remain open until Sunday 5th October. We invite everyone in the industry to take part – nominate yourself, your colleagues or someone you admire for the incredible work they do. Installers are also encouraged to ask homeowners and satisfied customers to nominate them, their positive feedback could make all the difference!

Winners will be revealed during Quality Plumber Week, a dedicated week to celebrate the very best in our industry.

This award honours individuals or businesses who are actively reducing their environmental impact and promoting sustainable practices in their day-to-day operations. Whether through innovative solutions, customer education, or responsible sourcing, this category celebrates those who are making a meaningful difference to the planet.

To progress as a nominee, we’re looking for you to outline your achievements in one or more of the following areas:

  • Share specific actions you’ve taken to reduce emissions or waste (e.g. low-emission vehicles, use of energy-efficient tools and equipment).
  • Describe how your working practices or installations help conserve water, reduce energy consumption, or minimise material waste.
  • Highlight any green certifications, environmental policies, or sustainable supply chain choices you’ve implemented.
  • Give examples of eco-friendly products or systems you recommend or install for clients.
  • Describe how you engage your customers in conversations about sustainability.
  • Explain how you manage waste on the job. Do you recycle old parts or reduce packaging waste?
    Provide examples of how you measure the success of your sustainability efforts (e.g. energy savings achieved for clients, tonnes of CO2 avoided, litres of water saved).

#QPW25 Social Media Competition

In true Quality Plumber Week fashion we have a series of interactive social media competitions designed to showcase your skills and reward your hard work.

From Monday 13th to Sunday 19th October, we want to see the amazing work you’re doing out in the field. Whether it’s a stunning bathroom installation, a clever repair, or a neat and tidy pipework job, simply share a photo of your work on social media using the hashtag #QPW25.
