On 18 November, the Prime Minister announced a one-year extension to the Green Homes Grant Voucher Scheme, until the end of March 2022. The announcement was made as part of his ambitious 10 Point Plan for a green industrial revolution.
The aim of the extension is to support the government’s green agenda and provide the confidence needed by installers to invest in expanding and training their workforce, as well as assuring the wider industry that it will be supported in the longer-term to develop robust supply chains and respond to increased demand associated with green technologies.
Installers who have registered with the scheme, and those who have applied to register, should have received an email yesterday from the grant administrator with information about the extension.
