Here at APHC, we’re running this year’s Quality Plumber Week between 11 and 17 October and we’re calling for plumbing and heating installers and engineers to get involved.
Organised annually, the week aims to raise awareness of the skills within the plumbing and heating industry whilst shining a spotlight on the many plumbing businesses that play a vital part in our communities from unblocking sinks to making sure drinking water is safe.
This year, the week also aims to champion those who have provided crucial help for the UK population throughout the pandemic.
We want to celebrate the UK’s plumbers as the backbone of the country’s workforce during these particularly trying times, which is why we’re encouraging people share their positive stories. Whether big or small, tradespeople can send their stories in for the chance to be published on the dedicated page and even be in for the chance to be entered into the prize draw of items donated from a variety of top manufacturers.
Quality plumbers can also post pictures of themselves working on quality installations throughout the week using #QPW21 to be in for a chance of winning.
For the first time ever, Quality Plumber Week will also be run in partnership with Installer – the leading publication for heating, plumbing and renewable professionals. Throughout the week, APHC will be hosting a range of activities alongside Installer, including a technical webinar, live Twitter Q&A, and a roundtable conversation all based around this year’s theme.
There are thousands of excellent plumbers working throughout England and Wales; who provide exceptional service and advice to homes and businesses. On behalf of not only our members, but also every hardworking plumber we want to recognise the skills and work they do.
Also, rather than focus on the negative aspects of COVID, let’s champion the plumbers that are committed to delivering high standards of workmanship and unrivalled levels of customer service despite the circumstances. The plumbing industry prides itself on extremely high standards, with plumbers and suppliers continually developing new systems and technologies to benefit the way we live.
